With the rise of Minimum Wage, I find myself annoyed.

I work in a coffee shop, and when I started there, doughnuts, muffins, cookies, bagels and coffee, tea and hot chocolate was all free while we were working. Then awhile back muffins and cookies were taken away from us. And now, with the raise we've all just gotten, nothing is free anymore, not even when we are on duty. Also, I should mention, our staff discount used to be 50% off, for anything that wasn't free, sandwiches, pop, any other cold drinks, and no, it is only 20%. This just means that now, it's almost more worth it to pick things up when I go grocery shopping and take things with me to work. That or I just stop eating while I'm at work. And I know that that statement will send a few people into a frenzy, so calm yourselves, I'll take things to work with me.

Well that's my vent for the afternoon. I think I'm done now. I'm going to go back to watching my movie now.

This man never ceases to amaze me, every time I hear him play I'm more in awe of him. And he's canadian to boot. He's 61 years old, and he is still going strong, this is video proof here, recorded just last year in Fort Erie, ON.



David Wilcox. My mother introduced me to his music, and I will never fault her for that, infact, I love her for it. My mother made so many amazing influences in my life, because let's face it people of internet blog land, if you know my mother, you know, she is awesome.

I have to say, she's never led me wrong when it comes to music.

Incase you're wondering, yes I'm in music mode today. I'm sitting here singing along with my playlist and having a great old time! I think I'll get back to that now.

As I sit here, staring at a blinking cursor I find myself wondering what it is I should write about? My life, although wonderful, isn't all that exciting. When I'm not working, I'm playing a game, watching TV shows (always about a year behind), or I'm sleeping.

At the age of 26, I'm a boring lady who doesn't go anywhere. I work full time days, 7am-3pm in a thank-less and exhausting job, that I stay at because the hours suit me. Although lately they have been seeming earlier and earlier, and I am not sleeping as well as I would like. This happens from time to time with me however, so I'm sure it will pass soon enough.

So aside from my job, which I signed a paper saying I wouldn't talk about on sites like this, and Facebook, or MySpace, I think it was only about inner workings, but still, better safe than sorry. You'll likely hear me from time to time say that I had a really long day, or a really hard day, but here in this blog, you will not receive details. I could keep you updated on how my World of Warcraft characters are doing, but I think that would have you bored in no time flat. So I think I will refrain from doing that as well.

So in short I think the best you will be able to expect from this, unless the mood strikes me one day or something actually exciting happens in my life, the most you will be able to expect are sporadic and tardy updates of my continued status of, Alive. I'll do my best to be more exciting.
